Finding IP Address Of the Sender In Hotmail!!
Log into your Hotmail account with your username and password.
Click on the Mail tab on the top.
Open the mail.
If you do not see the headers above the mail message, your headers are
not displayed . To display the headers,
Click on Options on the top-right corner
In the Mail Options page, click on Mail Display Settings
In Message Headers, make sure Advanced option is checked.
Click on Ok button
Go back to the mails and open that mail.
If you find a header with X-Originating-IP: followed by an IP address,
that is the sender's IP address
Hotmail headers : Daniel ,In this case the IP address of the sender is
[68.34.60.59]. This is be the IP address of the sender.
If you find a header with Received: from followed by a Gmail proxy like this
Hotmail headers : Daniel
Look for Received: from followed by IP address within square
brackets[]. In this case, the IP address of the sender is
[69.140.7.58].
Or else if you have headers like this

Look for Received: from followed by IP address within square brackets[].
In this case, the IP address of the sender is [61.83.145.129] .
If you have multiple Received: from headers, eliminate the ones that
have proxy.anyknownserver.com.

If you do not see the headers above the mail message, your headers are

Scroll down to Messages where you have the Headers option
Make sure that Show all headers on incoming messages is selected

brackets [ ]. Here, it is 202.65.138.109.
That is be the IP address of the sender!

When you receive an email, you receive more than just the message. The
email comes with headers that carry important information that can
tell where the email was sent from and possibly who sent it. For that,
you would need to find the IP address of the sender. The tutorial
below can help you find the IP address of the sender.

Log into your Gmail account with your username and password.
Open the mail.
To display the headers,
Click on More options corresponding to that thread. You should get a
bunch of links. Click on Show original
You should get headers like this:

between square brackets. In this case, it is 65.119.112.245.

What is this document about

In this document I explain how to exploit a security hole I found in http://www.hotmail.com/. With this exploit you can access other people's mailboxes, view their contacts and much more. All that needs to be done is send this user an e-mail with a link/url to an internet-page you created. When this user clicks on this url, his inbox is all yours.
I've tried to explain the situation as simple as possible, so that anyone can understand it.

How does it work

One of the following things is needed to Hack/Login/Crack into Hotmail:

1.            When you know his/her e-mail address and password you can login with his username and password on http://www.hotmail.com/

2.            When you know his/her account information like country and zip-code, and you are able to answer his/her secret question. In this case You can reset his/her password, and login just like option 1, with a new password.

3.            When you have access to his alternate e-mail address, you could send a password reset e-mail message to that account to reset his/her password.

4.            When you have his/her 'cookie' for passport.net or hotmail.msn.com you can 'fake' his/her cookie, and make hotmail believe you are already logged in as this user.

I'm goin to tell about 4th method here.....

Overview:------------ 

First of all what are cookies?????
Cookies, the small data files placed on an Internet user's computer when visiting websites, are primarily used to identify visitors for the purpose of customizing content such as advertising. But many sites, including Hotmail, also rely on cookies for more serious authentication purposes.

For such sites, the cookie is akin to an ATM banking card that doesn't also require the holder to provide a password. Lose the "card" and you may give up your security.






What's scary about this??
Once they have your cookies, they have your account forever. Even if you change your password, they can still get in.





What are those [hotmail/MSN] cookies???
Two of the cookies, set by MSN.com/hotmail.com and named "MSPAuth" and "MSPProf," are the digital keys that allow an attacker to access the interior pages of a Hotmail account without being prompted to sign in, and to read and send messages from the account and change the account holder's preferences.






When are the cookies removed from your computer???
In tests, the Hotmail cookies appeared to stay on the PC unless the user clicked the "Sign Out .NET" button or re-booted the computer. Merely closing the browser did not delete them.

OK now let's come to the point:--[i.e. How it is done?]
Because the cookie is not limited to the domain hotmail.msn.com, I can also use an exploit on the site msn.com to steal the cookie from the victim. When I searched msn.com for an exploit called "HTML Injection" or "Cross Site Scripting" (XSS), it took me about 30 minutes to find one. With this exploit type I'm able to insert additional pieces of html or javascript into a page of msn.com. When I insert the code:

the user will see a message box just like the picture below when he visits that site.

With the text you can see in the "alert message-box" above, everybody with some knowledge is able to access my inbox. This text is send by my browser to hotmail every time I visit a site with the domain "msn.com". This method is used so hotmail knows I am still logged in. The text in the popup is called a "cookie". A trick used by attackers is to fake somebody else's cookie. I will explain one easy method, although there are different ways of doing it. I can fake cookies with a helper program called "Proxomitron". Proxomitron acts like a proxy server with the option to change, fake or block html headers. Cookie-text, like the text in the popup, is send by the browser invisibly in an html-header called "cookie". Because Proxomitron is able to fake headers, this program is very useful to me.

I will explain later how proxomitron must be configured to fake cookies.

How does the attacker get the cookie? Showing a popup to the user with his cookie information does not help the attacker. The attacker wants the text now shown in the popup-box. To log cookies the hacker needs to create a internet-page with PHP or ASP. This is to log some text to a log file on a webserver. I've created a simple PHP script that is able to log text to a log file. I've named this file "cookielogger.php" and its content looks like this:

I uploaded this file to a webserver. As example I'll use the fake internet site http://www.pankshack.com/. To test the PHP script I'll go tohttp://www.pankshack.com/cookielogger.php?cookie=test. I can see the text "Successfully wrote a string to the log file". When I'm now browsing tohttp://www.pankshack.com/logfile.txt I can see the text "test".
When I go to http://www.pankshack.com/cookielogger.php?cookie=this text is being logged, the text "this text is being logged" will be appended to the log file: http://www.pankshack.com/logfile.txt
Cookielogger.php is now ready to log text strings, so it's also ready to log cookies. I use the Cross Site Scripting exploit to inject a code that will redirect the user to http://www.pankshack.com/cookielogger.php with the argument "cookie" filled with the user's cookie. So when the user visits the msn site with added code, he will be redirected to http://www.pankshack.com/cookielogger.php?cookie=hiscookie and the hacker can read his cookie information at the site http://www.pankshack.com/logfile.txt because "hiscookie" is now logged to a textfile the hacker can see. the code I'm inserting in msn.com will look like this:

See the two printscreens below of the results with the cookielogger. Remember "www.pankshack.com" is not really used, its just an example.

Okay, the exploit is ready to go. We could send the link above to the victim in the hope he clicks the link. But there aren't many people who go to a site like "ilovemessenger.msn.com". Also when the users sees something like "document.cookie" in the url he'll probably think twice before clicking it.

When we create a new php page called "redirect.php" with the following content:

and place this file online on http://www.pankshack.com/redirect.php. Now when we send the victim an email with this link and he clicks on it he will be redirected to the ilovemessenger site plus exploit, here he will be redirected topankshack.com/cookielogger.php with his cookie of msn.com being logged in the log file.

When these actions are completed you are ready to start exploiting the victim. If anyone really would try to break into somebody's hotmail account he also would change cookielogger.php to redirect on, or to show an innocent message, so that the user wouldn't notice that his cookie was logged.

When a malicious hacker sends an e-mail containing the link to the redirect script and the victim opens his new e-mail message he will see something like this:



When the victim clicks the text "click this link" the exploit will come in motion. In real life there are tons of methods of persuading the victim to click on a link. The hacker is patiently waiting for a new entry in the file http://www.pankshack.com/logfile.txt. When the user finally clicks the link and the hacker notices extra text in the log file the fun can start. When the victim is fallen for your trick, the log file looks like this:



Now the hacker has stolen the cookie of the victim, the hacker can proceed in faking his cookie when entering hotmail. Somewhere at the start of this explanation I talked about "Proxomitron" to fake cookies. I will now explain how to make the settings to fake this cookie.

Proxomitron looks like this:



Just place a 'v' before "Outgoing Header Filters" because that's what we want to do. We want to send the users cookie to the web server as it is or own cookie. Press the button "Headers" to create a new header to fake the cookie.



In the new window, fill in these values:

HTTP Header: "Cookie: a description"
URL Match: ""
Header Value Match: "*"
Replacement test: the users cookie 



Apply the new header by putting a 'v' before the new header in the "Out" column and press apply to save the changes.



Proxomitron is now ready for faking the cookie. Now setting up your browser. You need to set your browser to use a proxy-server. It differs per browser how to make that setting.
In Internet Explorer: "Tools -> Internet Options... -> Connections -> LAN Settings -> Proxy server"
In Mozilla Firefox: "Tools -> General -> Connection Settings -> Manual proxy configuration"

Set the Address to "127.0.0.1" (your own pc) and as port : "8080" (the port of Proxomitron proxy server)

When your browser is setup to use your own proxy server, you can go to the following url :

When successful you can now see the inbox of the victims mail box.

Ethics and law :

Nothing I did was illegal, but when you are hacking somebody else his inbox you are breaking the law. When this happens you can be prosecuted and go to jail. Don't let this happen to you!
I published this document to let the world know about the security risk. By publishing this document Microsoft is forced to patch the hole immediately.
If I hadn't told Microsoft about this security hole (I mailed them), or if I wouldn't have found it, it is possible somebody else would have found it. If this guy would have been a 'black-hat-hacker' he and his friends would surely have used this security hole to hack a lot of mail-boxes.

A final word:

Security holes have been found in Hotmail multiple times in the past. After putting this tutorial online, I found out that Microsoft had a similar bug three years ago, found by N|ghtHawk (a fellow Net-Force member). I hope that after this time MSN will be more careful with it's security, because small exploits can have great consequences.

1) Activate Airtel Live! ( It’s FREE so no probs)
2) Create TWO Airtel gprs data accounts (yep TWO) and select the
FIRST as the active profile.
3) Connect your mobile to the PC (or Laptop) and install the driver for
your mobile’s modem.
4) Create a new dial-up connection using the NEW CONNECTION
WIZARD as follows
Connecting Device : Your mobile’s modem
ISP Name : Airtel (or anything you like)
Phone Number : *99***2# / Try 99***1
Username and Password : blank
5) Configure your browser and download manager to use the proxy
100.1.200.99 and port 8080.( My advice is to use Opera since you
can browse both wap and regular websites)
6) Connect to the dial-up account. You will be connected at 115.2
kbps (but remember, that is a bad joke).
7) Pick up your mobile and try to access any site. You will get “Access
Denied…”(except for Airtel Live!). IT DOES NOT MATTER.
Keep the mobile down.
8 ) On the PC ( or Laptop) open your browser, enter any address ,
press ENTER and…….WAIT
9) After a few seconds the page will start to load and you have the
WHOLE internet at your disposal.

then choose CNBC OR AAJTAK WHILE CONNECTING TO MEDIA SERVER cancel
AFTER 9 or 10 sec then type any web adress if it shows access denied
then once again select CNBC and wait for a few more sec than before if
its fully connected also no prob its free then cancel it or if ur
connected then stop it and the internet is ready to take of .GOOD LUCK

For All Airtel Users
Requirements:
1. Airtel live (available 4 free)
2. Nokia series60 handset eg 6600,6630,n series,7610,6670 etc
3. Opera wap browser 4 mobile
Procedure:-
1. Go to ur connection settings and make a new internet profile using
the default settings of airtel live. name that new profile as
nething(for eg masala); change the home page of that profile to
nething u like for eg www.google.com.
2. Go to ur Opera browser and set the default connection as AIRTEL
LIVE. this is the original settings u received thru airtel.
3. Go to the services(in n6600) and Web(N6630) and change the default
profile for connection as masala (newer one).
**Note: always make sure that ur access point is airtelfun.com
Apply:-
1. Open Opera and u will see that homepage of Airtel Live is opened.
Minimize the application.
2. Now open web using the duplicate Profile and u will see that two
gprs connections will work simultaneously and at the web or the
services page it will show "Unable to connect" or any error. well
thats the signal of ur success.
3. Simply go on the Opera with web on and open any site u want for
free. No Charges No nothing.

The main principle behind this is we hav 2 fool the bsnl techies 2
activate portal and thus get gprs activated / get "G" signal on ur
cell as bsnl portal (wap.cellone.in) needs "gprs signal on ur cel
(whether gprs is formaly activated/registerd or not (by my method )i
dont know)
NORMALLY THEY DONT DO THAT INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT THEY SHOULD
ACTIVATE GPRS SIGNAL SERVICE FOR PORTAL!!!
AND THEY WILL GIVE U NO OF REASONS----
---THAT portal is message based , so go to cellone icon in menu and
use that sms based portal (what the f**k)
---THAT portal service will be activated when u will activate gprs by
filling up form and registering at nearest CCN!!
---THAT ur handset has some problems (if u say that "G" signal is not present)
----etc,etc!!
U HAVE 2 ACTIVATE PORTAL FIRST WHICH IS FREE AND U CAN EAT UP CC'S FOR
THIS REASON!!
SO WHAT U HAV 2 DO IS--
1) SEND PORTAL to 3733 AND CONFIRMATION SHD COME WITH 5 MIN AT-MAXIMM !!
2) SEND FOR ATLEAST 20-30 TIMES (CAN B ANY MORE THAN THAT)
JUST S**K UP THE NETWORK(3733) WITH THESE MESSAGES !!!
THAT'S FREE NO!! BOTH ON POST AND PRE!!
3) NOW ALONG ALSO SEND 20-40 SMS AS GPRS TO 3733
(NO OF SMS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL 2 HATE FOR BSNL AND HOW EARLY U WNAN
GET UR GPRS ACTIVATED) this is also free both on post and pre!!
4) U WILL GET CONFIRMATION IN BOTH CASES AND MSG TELLS U 2 GET
SETTINGS FROM 9400024365, THE NO OF CC!!
HERE AT MY PLACE I CAN DIAL 9419024365 ALSO!
BOTH R TOLL FREE AND BOTH R LOCATED IN CHANDIGARH!!!

information that where they r located, as if thay have a 3 rd world of

Try and in ur 1 st call only,
talk roughly and tell them u r calling 10-20th time just for settings

5) Now when u get them save them AND plz post them here!!!
6) now GET ATLEAST 2-3 COMPLAINTS REGISTERED( each after 1 day) THAT
UR PORTAL HAS NOT ACTIVATED AND GET THEIR SERIAL NO.
and in the end bombard them abt the status of all those complaints !!
b4 registering ur complaint they will hesitate much and always say
taht they will b sendin new settings which r accurate! but dont belive
them and just register complaints!!
6)AFTER THAT, u have 2 only wait until "G" signal is there on ur screen!!
LOOK, WHAT I HAVE WRIITEN ABV IS METHOD by which i got activated my
"G" service !!! without fillin any form or such and without any money
drain!!
may be since it bypasses the formal way of registeration, that is why
this trick is working !!!!!!!!!!!!

U may also Try this
first open ur msg window and type LIVE and send it to 2567 so that
after 5 min u get the setting of Airtel Live or if u have already no
need for this procedure.
now then open that setting and copy all the settings from it and
create one access point manually which has all the settings like
Airtel Live has.
now only one change will be there and it would be in access point name
which is "Airtelmms.com" instead of originally "Airtelgprs.com".
ok u've done it just active that setting and access free airtel gprs
on ur phone.
